Tourism Management in Dalian Maritime University has been developed from two aspects: first to strengthen competitive advantage in “shipping”, “port”, “ocean” etc. in order to adopt to new cruise and yacht industry as major’s specialty; second, fully utilize university’s facilities and resources in order to improve the quality of students’ education.
The highlight of this major is to consistently developing characteristics of new trend in tourism economy, especially in cruise and yacht industry. Recently, this major has made several achievements in designing teaching programs, editing textbooks, internship opportunities development, attracting talents, cooperation with industry, teaching training and international development and attracted more investment and development procedures.
